Abstract

Preparation of Bill on Hydrocarbon Taxation to Faroese Parliament (Løgting). The work involves economic analysis of model oilfield with cash flow analysis of government take. Drafting bill in correct economic and legal terms to present the case for reducing the rate of Normal Hydrocarbon Tax from 27% to 18% in line with current Corporation Tax. Consultancy work on behalf of 3 different political parties.
