Abstract

Six species of Hemiptera are recorded in the Faroe Islands for the first time: Eurydema oleracea (Linnaeus, 1758), Eurydema ornata (Linnaeus, 1758), Nezara viridula (Linnaeus, 1758), Coreus marginatus (Linnaeus, 1758), Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann, 1910 and Phyllaphis fagi (Linnaeus, 1761). A complete overview is given of all species of Hemiptera recorded from the Faroe Islands. In addition selected species and taxa are given Faroese names.
