Abstract
The question we adress in this article is to what extent the preposition fyri ‘for’
might govern the accusative where it used to govern the dative. In order to find
out if this is so, young and old speakers of Faroese have answered a grammaticality
judgment test, and it is the results of this test that we present the reader for here.
