Abstract

With an outset in design-based research, this paper coins the notion of ‘humble implementation heuristics’ as the next progression of design principles prior to implementation (at scale). Based on using ‘networking of theories’ as a meta-practice to design research, the paper discusses the potential of this approach to the implementation processes of innovation, exemplified by a specific case of design-based research presented at the previous CERME.
