Abstract
The book describes the development in international politics from 1990 to 2022 and beyond. The main angle is the develelopment in Eastern Europe, the NATO expansion and the Russian invasions in especially Ukraine since 2014. Te context is the international development in especially Eastern Evrope since the end of Cold War. The main question is to trace and analyse the main reasons behind the development in Eastern Evrope since 1990. The general approch is a combination of classical realism and the democracy thesis.
