Any Faroese asked to name the most important Faroese prose
writers would include the names of Redin Bni and Martin Joensen in
his list. They would probably stand at the top of the list. They would
probably be in that order. The only other name regularly to appear
among the top three would be that of the much younger Jens Pauli
Heinesen.
