Abstract
The data presented in this article show that convergence in Faro-Danish does not
occur at random, nor is it the case that anything is possible. On the contrary, the data lends
support to the 4-m model and the abstract level model. It also clearly shows that both
grammars are ‘on’ in bilingual speech.
