Abstract

On February 24th, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, causing thousands to flee the
country. The Faroe Islands decided to welcome Ukrainian refugees, providing
them access to education, the labour market, and healthcare services. This report
describes the health status and daily life of Ukrainian refugees in the Faroe Islands
and their assessment of the services they have received. The report is based on a
survey conducted in collaboration between the Faroese Immigration Office and the
University of the Faroe Islands. The survey includes questions about quality of life,
mental health, and satisfaction with Faroese welfare services.
