The study aims to:

• Identify the challenges Faroese school leadership faces in coping with the sudden, unplanned change.
• Evaluate school leadership action in empowering teachers through transformational leadership.
• Elicit and understand the challenges posed to teachers in this crisis situation.
• Evaluate how well equipped Faroese schools have been to cope with this alternative approach to teaching and also the future implications for education.

• Eyðmerkja avbjóðingarnar, sum føroysku skúlaleiðslurnar standa fyri í handfaringini av bráddligum, óætlaðum broytingum.
• Meta um handfaringina hjá skúlaleiðslunum í uppgávuni at førleikamenna lærarar gjøgnum broytingarleiðslu.
• Varpa ljós á og skilja avbjóðingarnar hjá lærarum í hesi kreppustøðuni.
• Meta um, hvussu væl skúlar í Føroyum hava verið brynjaðir til at megna hesa øðrvísi tilgongdina til læring og um framtíðar avleiðingar fyri útbúgving.
