Research interests
I have a phd in computational oceanography. I am the maintainer of the FarCoast ocean model. My main work area is thus working with the FarCoast; including development, running, maintaining and updating the FarCoast model. FarCoast is a 3D numerical ocean model, based on the Regional Ocean Model System (ROMS), adapted to the Faroese shelf, coastal and fjord conditions. Further more my research areas are the tides around the Faroes Islands which are very distinct due to a local amphidromic point for all tidal constituents, as well as the combination of ocean modeling and biogeochemical modeling.
