Sigurd is an atmospheric physical chemist with a special interest in experimental aerosol science, ocean-atmosphere interactions and cloud formation. Started as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry (tenure-track) at the University of Faroe Islands in February 2022 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025.
