Poul F. Guttesen is Associate Professor at the Department of Education (Námsvísindadeildin). Guttesen first came to the department in the fall of 2008, and was made Associate Professor in the summer of 2011.

Research interests

  • Place-Based Education and Internationalisation
  • Secularism and the role of religious and other minority group in the public realm
  • Guttesen has previously conducted research in the intersection between Systematic Theology and Biblical Studies

Teaching

Guttesen's primary areas of teaching are within worldviews, ethics and theory of science.
