Personal profile

Noomi í Dali has been working with textiles from a very young age. She has taught weaving and other textile techniques in evening classes for many years, and weaving at "Sjóndepilin", an institution for blind people for seven years, before joining the teaching team at the School of Education in 2001.

Textile Designer Education at Design School Kolding 1985.

Academic Education: Master of Adult Education and Life-long Learning (RUC 2006), and Candidate in Didaktic Material Culture (DPU, Aarhus University 2014)

Nordic Education in Sustainable development (Nordic Council of Ministers, 2016-17)

Noomi has been a member of the Nordplus Programm Committee since October 2017

Recently she has been working with the Faroe Island Museum, on an exhibition of Viking Textile Techniques
