Jari í Hjøllum is staffed at the Faculty of Science and Technology as a teaching lecturer, and programme director of B.Sc in Engineering. He graduated from the Niels Bohr Institute as Cand. Scient. in Physics and Mathemathics in 2004. He was awarded his ph.d in Physics for his thesis "Antiferromagnetism in YBCO and CoO Nanoparticles" in 2007."
