Personal profile

Research interests

My overall research interests revolve around gender equality and minority participation. For about the past decade, I have in particular specialised in connections between female outmigration from remote and rural areas, gender seggregation in the labour market and ineqaulities in access to jobs and education opportunities. Lately, I have also - as an extension of this - turned my attention to island studies, as islands often pose interesting examples of such processes. From September 2022-March 2023, I was employed by the Danish Veterans' Centre research the experiences of female veterans in the Danish Defence during deployments abroad. Since April 2023, I have been employed as DEI adviser to the Royal Danish Navy Command
