Research interests
My current PhD project, Agents of New Narratives in a Time of Crisis, is an ecocritical and narratological analysis of the child’s perspective on time and place in contemporary Faroese literature. Through an analysis that combines ecocriticism and narratology, the project explores how the child in different genres of fiction is granted agency as a potential for new conceptualizations of time and place in a time of environmental and climate crisis.
