Research interests

My main interest is the oceanography of Faroese fjords. The fjords are
of great importance to the people and the industry, yet little is known
about their circulation. I aim to better the understanding of what is
happening in the fjords, like the importance of currents, tides and
wind, water exchange with the sea outside, bottom water renewal,
and internal processes.
