Annika Antoniussen is Deputy Dean and programme leader for the Pedagogical Education at the Faculty of Education. She started teaching in pedagogical sociology and the transition from pre-school to primary-school in 2009. She was appointed to programmeleader in 2013 and to Deputy Dean in 2020.

Research interests

Educational research

The Pedaogical Education emphasizeing the history since it was established in 1986. The methods are at the moment documentanalyses and individual interviews.

Sociological research:

The well-being amongs pedagogues in the field, in relation to the lack of pedagogues and as a result of it. And furthermore to try to identify which factors could improve the working conditions at the moment.

The single parents social-economical situation in the faroese society, both economically and politically and which consequences it has for the parents and the children.
