The Faroese Environment Agency is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Environment. Its work areas include Environmental Protection, Nature conservation, Land (Faroese Cadastre), Maps and Geodata, Research, Recreational areas, the Land Registration Act and the National Register. The Environment Agency is an active force in the community and employs various specialists within its areas of responsibility.
