Patologiska deild er tilvísingarkanningarstova (National Reference Laboratory) fyri fiska- og djórasjúkur. Aðalmálið er at veita álítandi, skjótar og kappingarførar kanningar. Vit arbeiða í einari nútímans kanningarstovu við framkomnari útgerð og eru altjóða góðkend sambært DS/EN ISO 17025 standardi (www.danak.dk). Gransking er týðandi partur av okkara virkisøki.
The Pathological Laboratory is part of the Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority and is appointed the National Reference Laboratory for Fish and Animal Diseases. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools for high throughput molecular genetic analyses and is accredited according to the DS/EN ISO 17025 standard.
