Heilsufrøðiliga Starvsstovan er eftirlits- og vitanarstovnurin fyri mat og djór í Føroyum. Arbeiði og kanningar okkara byggja á nýggjastu, altjóða vitan og gransking. Starvsstovan granskar í teimum yrkisgreinum, sum stovnurin røkir sambært lóg, og á økjum, har tað er eyðsýndur fyrimunur, at gransking og verkætlanirnar verða framdar á stovninum.

The Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority is established under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade to carry out statutory control and laboratory checks within the food and veterinary fields and to undertake research and development relevant to the statutory tasks. The Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority is the Faroese reference laboratory concerning the fields mentioned above.
