Granskingarráðið umsitur stuðulsskipanir til gransking og annað líknandi, fyrisitur Horizon Europe samstarvið og annað altjóða granskingar- og menningarsamstarv, arbeiðir við granskingarpolitikki og savnar hagtøl. Eisini kunnar stovnurin breitt um úrslit og avrik frá gransking, menning, nýskapan o.a.

Research Council Faroe Islands is a public research funding body, tasked with the administration of the Faroe Islands’ association agreement on participation in Horizon Europe, developing national R&I policy and collecting R&I statistics. The Council is also in charge of disseminating Faroese R&I results and other R&I output.
